Oregon driver facing charges following game

A friendly game of truth-or-dare is a popular pastime for many Oregon young people. In most cases, games like these are harmless fun. However, when people are injured during these types of games, the police may become interested in what happen and criminal charges can follow.

An Oregon teenager is facing serious criminal charges following an alleged game that he and his friends were playing while driving. According to police, the 19-year-old boy was playing a game with friends while driving. The game required the driver to hold his breath as he drove the length of an 800 foot long tunnel in Portland.

The competition apparently went south when the driver passed out and caused a serious car accident inside the tunnel. Police say that the driver and a passenger in another car were injured after the teen's car hit them. The passenger in the teenager's car was also seriously injured.

As a result, the teenager was charged with fourth-degree assault, three counts of recklessly endangering another person and reckless driving. He will need to appear in court in late June as part of these criminal proceedings.

This driver could face serious penalties as a result of these charges. People who have been charged with felonies can be sentenced to more than a year in prison, to large fines, probation and more. As a convicted felon, people may have difficulty finding a job or housing since felon status often needs to be reported.

To avoid penalties for assault charges and other serious criminal charges, people need the right criminal defense strategy. With the right help, charges can be reduced or eliminated and people can have a more positive future.
